Great Legend : Robin Hood mobile game

New version 1.1.07
This new version is MULTILANGUAGE.

Robin of Locksley returns in the mobile game, Great Legends: Robin Hood. The story line is that Robin of Locksley, returns home after the war to find his father dead, the people in fear, strange soldiers roaming the country and his family missing. From here on, Robin goes on a quest to find out what is going wrong, and on the way, meets up with Little John, and from there changes his name to Robin Hood, and strives to defeat the Sheriff and return peace to the land. However, there are other optional quests to perform, that upon completion will grant additional bonuses that will give you an edge against your opponents.

The gameplay of Great Legends: Robin Hood, is much similar to the old gameboy game, Zelda. If you aren’t familiar with it, it’s a top down game, where you control your character like an action arcade game. In Robin Hood, there are two types of attack; melee, and ranged attack using arrows. There are then several arrows and swords, which have different effects. For example, a fire arrow, which upon striking your enemy, sets him alight and deals additional damage over time. A freezing arrow meanwhile, stops an enemy in his tracks, allowing you to dive in quickly to launch a few melee strikes at an irritating archer. Ranged attack is pretty easy, once within range, the enemy is automatically targeted and you can fire your shot. One major weakness of Robin Hood however, is the lack of hero customizability, as well as the relative ease of the game. Although you have a set of lives, losing them all is no problem, as you can still easily continue where you left off, which is the last save point you passed by. If you have lives remaining and you die, you simply start of on the same screen. However, the relative ease, as well as the closeness of each save point is such that losing life is not a problem at all. It’s like playing a game with “God Mode” on, so how fun can that be? Then again, it also depends on the gamer's skill. If you’re good, and fast on your feet, then you might easily fly through this game. Otherwise, you might be really enjoying yourself and even finding it a bit hard, since enemies are constantly respawning.

The music as well as the graphics for Robin Hood is very impressive. The music is rich, and has a great theme to it. The graphics are very Zelda-like, rich in colour, clear in details, and just a little bit cartoony but Robin Hood will impress and leave you in awe for sure, and this will definitely enhance the gameplay experience. The speech effects for the characters are also quite well done.

However, the replayability of Robin Hood does suffer a bit due to the linear storyline. Normal (good) RPGs would leave behind random elements behind, be it items or events to make each replay a new and exciting experience. However, Great Legends: Robin Hood is based on high score, which is determined by the amount of gold you have. That means the more life or shields or arrows you buy, the less your gold and hence highscore. Which isn’t much of a problem anyway, since a lot of these stuff can be gained from crates and enemies. So the question is, would you want to play the entire game again just to see if you can beat it by spending less gold? I highly doubt it.
